TechM completes data clean-up for MTN

Tech Mahindra Limited has successfully cleaned up the data record of MTN Nigeria’s 57 million-subscriber base as part of the Subscriber Identity Mobile registration exercise.
It was learnt on Monday that the project took almost six months to complete from October 2013 to April 2014.
Our correspondent gathered that the overall accuracy of the project was 99.26 per cent as certified by the MTN audit team.

Chief Executive Officer, Business Services Group, Tech Mahindra, Sujit Baksi, spoke for the company.
He said, “We want to mention the commendable support received from service and delivery, infrastructure support, network and CR/Quality teams of MTN in achieving the desired results.
“We supported the project with our 2000 employees across three sites and were able to complete the project in a timely manner to our client’s delight.”
The General Manager, Business Development, MTN Nigeria, Richard Iweanoge, congratulated the team on this occasion.
Iweanoge mentioned that the passion demonstrated by the team was synonymous with the MTN brand values.
“Tech Mahindra’s insightful reports, planning and execution, despite all odds, were quite commendable and we want to thank them for their professionalism, hard work, and tenacity.
“It accomplished data cleansing and eye ball validation of 34 million records while making 24.9 million outbound calls to the customers. The project was completed within the stipulated time,” he said.
